Give me a flat belly, and I’ll except my curves NOOOOO problem .
Last night in Downtown LA I attended the Glamorama Art-rageous night hosted by Macy’s. I went to the event courtesy of my job PinkBerry since we had to cater the event, so yes I was working but it was at the after party so it was a lot better than I anticipated. A runway show was held at the Orpheum to raise money for the Aids foundation. We were given the job to cater the after party so I didn’t get to see the runway.
The party was suppose to start at 9:00pm but doors opened around 10:00pm. At first there wasn’t much of a rush but later on we got a whole line. I didn’t see anybody particularly famous except the guy that plays Caleb in pretty little liars. I was seriously hyperventilating lol He came to our stand and I served him, he was really nice.
There were a lot of designers and models that were just gorgeous, I mean GORGEOUS! their heels were a-mazing, the dresses and their make-up was great and not to mention just how tiny they were. Wow is the only thing that comes to mind.
Overall the party was great. Even though I had to work the party I did get some down time to enjoy all the delicious drinks and food they had. My manager even let me and my co-worker Ariel walk around a bit. We made friends with the Patron guys and another guy from the Margarita section lol It was great. We also got free See’s candies, coffee, food and not to mention the pictures and videos that were taken of us and our company. :) We also left with a goody bag that had Sandals, coffee bag, Rockstar, See’s candy, La times Magazine and a smart water. We were suppose to have wristbands for it but I walked int here with so much confidence I walked right out with a bag, no questions asked lol.
The night was great. I had fun and I pulled an 8 hour shift so i was dead tired. I had clocked in at 5:30pm and clocked out at 1:30am to get home at 2:00am. But now for pictures :D
Street Art exhibit
Yesterday I went to the street Art Exhibit in Downtown LA. I took my little sister because I believe that exposing a child to different and diverse art is the best thing one can do.
Anyway, I had a lot of fun with her and I loved the exhibit. It fascinated me to the extent that I shall return to go see it so I can spend a whole day consuming the art.
I didn’t take an extensive amount of pictures because I believe that one should consume the art mentally not digitally.
So I do have only two pictures to display:
one of my favorites.
I just thought it was cool that my nails and piercing glowed lol
